Stop Domestic Violence In Ireland (SDVII) is a charitable organisation founded by Priscilla and Ainie Grainger, a mother and daughter team from Dublin who having experienced domestic violence in the family home created a support service for those in need of assistance to leave or recover from an abusive relationship.
A non-government funded organisation, SDVII is self-funded with the assistance of contributions from the wider community for their victims. SDVII provides court support services, introduces those in need to professionals with expertise in this area such as solicitors or counsellors whilst at the same time simply listening which sometimes is all some people want as it helps to speak with people who have an understanding of the complex nature of abuse.
Dress For Success Dublin is a charity that promotes the economic independence of women by providing career development tools and a support network. They also campaign for equality in the workplace throughout industries, and across the country.
